There’s a RS-232 port on the mount – or sometimes a USB port on the mount. Just about all other mounts connect directly to the mount. But it seems that a lot of iOptron mount users are used to how Meade and Celestron and SkyWatcher mounts connect using serial connections – and not how iOptron and almost all other brands connect to serial connections. All my iOptron mounts are older than yours, and I use Windows.
